NOT SO POPULAR

  • Has the Arab spring tumbled into a premature winter or are there new fragrances scenting the Arab world, since spoils of the past are fading away?

The revolutionary spiral, which began in Tunisia swiftly sweeping Mubarak’s technocracy into exile, then torpedoing into Libya, then onto Bahrain-, is currently stationed upon Syria’s bloody soils. Revolutionary evolution aside- these decisive usurpations have presently amassed new and visible changes that have induced network formations (by the youth) for establishing positive trends in aim of planting credible and democratic seeds; to transition forward.

Newly welcomed opportunities, despite the remaining and intercepting challenges; political, regional, ideological and economical in dynamics- have transformed the formulaic governing in the region where Political élites are no longer able to exercise power as they once had, particularly in states whose civil populace have courageously ousted tyrannical leaders, banishing their blackened ideals that have historically restrained the region from progression, along with them. Tangible hopes of a revolutionary future have nevertheless continued to blossom, despite the explicit obstacles, since liberated societies stand triumphant against repressive dictatorships halting the downward spiral; I call deception.

Centuries, propounded by hierarchal servicing for the dictating fat cat clienteles, are now currently liquidating themselves and undergoing transformations; inviting the previously eliminated public, whose virtual realm has facilitated a realization toward their present standing reality. The failure of Ideological endowment, to reward and necessitate the restoration of Arabs violated humility, motivates the remaining Arabs fantasying of a reformist amendment of their ruined states as is the case in Syria today.

The past has now departed the present, enhancing the visibility of the ‘now’; alleviating the role played by Arabic youth. Ideological frameworks render obsolete, whilst networks (pioneered through collectivism based upon value) have paralyzed the former corrupted legacies of the Arab leaders. Where has the road of victory headed to now if Assad’s obstruction continues to impede Syrians revolutionary movement by anti-Assadies, reverently opposed to their government? What in regards to Bahrainis uprising or the self-determination of Palestinian people, will Iraq remain fragmented and will Saudi Arabia and Jordan also adopt lessons learnt from Egypt’s revolution or should their mode be dismissed as it yet to compound the entirety of success for Egypt’s people?

The lens of the Camera shalt not lie whilst new Media prevails in emitting ‘truth coverage’ to televise an alternative photographic insight that aligns audiences closer to reality. Fruits of the Electronic revolution grew reputably as official sources like Aljazeera (perhaps delayed) launched live streaming to transmit the occurrences inch by inch from each and every available angle, using technological phenomenon better described as smart phones which assisted the brigade of face book Campaigners who initiated Egypt’s spring.

Optimism manifested into Hope is what will drive the region onwards and upwards and cart justice and in thus has erected a series of parties run by Politically Islamic formulas, which were fervently chosen by the people, for the people, as all other western importations modelled in each entities, were prevalent only to those who’d cementing each and every Arab dictator. The later inspired and prolonged Egypt’s Revolution up until success surfaced. Its successes are undeniable, with removal of press censorship and grass movements organized by civil population proceeding in running the state. The Muslim brotherhood; in establishment since 1928, who too like their people were suppressed in due clashes between father of Arab Unity; Nassir, have today promenaded after launching ‘The freedom and Justice Party’ to emulate the Turkish model and satisfy their nation.

Tunisia, Morocco and Jordan have similarly adopted Islamic lines when drawing t their new and democratic political future. Huge illuming dangers such as economic crippling can be indicative of future unrest if flowing money from neighbouring rich states remain unshared. A direct injection of cash flows can be the only long term solution to restore Egypt and others into a sturdy posture along with a blossoming spirit from the Arab youth, which is yet to transcend its values into the political process.
